Aladdin Temp-Rite Appoints Michael Reuss

Hendersonville, TN (September 2, 2014) – Aladdin Temp-Rite announces the appointment of Michael Reuss as Regional Sales Manager, North Region. Reuss will manage a team of Aladdin Territory Managers based in northern and northeastern states. 

Prior to joining Aladdin, Reuss was a Regional Sales Manager at Beckman Coulter for four years, where he managed eight sales representatives in four states. Beckman Coulter develops and manufactures instruments, chemistry, software and supplies that automate laboratory processes and complex biomedical testing. During his tenure there, he doubled equipment sales every year over 2010 region performance. He also worked with the largest healthcare delivery systems in the Midwest.

As Physician Development Director for MDVIP from 2008-2010, Reuss was responsible for recruiting physicians and developing partnerships with healthcare institutions for a personalized concierge medicine program in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. He generated $3.5 million dollars in new sales his first year. At Quest Diagnostics, Inc. from 2003-2007, Reuss served as a District Sales Manager and managed a five-state region with more than $38 million in sales.

He received multiple awards of excellence for his sales and leadership abilities while employed by Allergan, Inc. where he was promoted from Territory Manager to Strategic Account Manager, Regional Account Manager and Area Business Manager during a seven-year period. He was responsible for the highly successful execution of marketing plans and sales for a therapeutic ophthalmic line, regularly exceeding established sales goals. He managed 11 sales representatives in a five-state region. Reuss has also held sales, marketing and technology positions at MCI Communications in Washington, D.C.; Parke-Davis pharmaceuticals in Toledo, OH; and Mercy Hospital in Toledo, OH.

In his new role at Aladdin, Reuss will be responsible for forecasting, managing customer relationships and creating successful business development strategies for the North Region. He will train and mentor sales representatives, assist with new product introductions, and be responsible for developing performance plans and managing operational budgets.

Originally from Toledo, OH, Mike and his wife, Diane, have lived in Woodbury, MN for the past 13 years.  Diane is a nurse manager at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. They have a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Lauren, who are currently attending college at University of St. Thomas and Iowa State. In their spare time, the family enjoys spending time golfing and enjoying the outdoors.
