Ali Group Appoints Stuart Murray as General Manager of the Moffat Group

CERNUSCO SUL NAVIGLIO, MILAN (November 28, 2025) – Ali Group, the largest and most diversified global leader in the foodservice equipment industry, has recently announced a key leadership change, effective December 1st, 2025.

Stuart Murray will take on the role of General Manager of the Moffat Group, reporting directly to Greg O’Connell who will continue in his current role as Chief Executive Officer.

Murray joined Moffat in New Zealand in 1983 in the Accounts department, progressing over several years to Sales Coordinator and Marketing Manager before moving to Moffat UK and then Moffat US, where he held the position of General Manager.

Following the acquisition of Moffat by the Ali Group in 2000, Murray assumed the position of Vice President of Sales for the Champion Group. He returned to New Zealand in 2006 and was appointed General Manager, Sales and Group Export Manager for the Moffat Group. Since then, he has been responsible for leading the Foodservice and Bakery Sales (New Zealand and Export), Customer Service, Technical Service and Spare Parts businesses, as well as Moffat US.
