CARPIGIANI-NORTH AMERICA APPOINTS NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF KEY ACCOUNTS

Winston-Salem, NC (September 3, 2015) – Carpigiani, an Ali Group company, today announced that Penny Klingler has been appointed Senior Vice President of Key Accounts for its North America division, effective September 8, 2015.

Klingler has an extensive background in the commercial foodservice equipment industry, including four years with Alco Standard Corp’s Dispensing division, leading the beverage dispensing product support teams, three years with Sweden Freezer as Vice President of Customer Services and 25 years with H.C. Duke & Son / Electro Freeze where she has served as Vice President of Sales and most recently directed their international sales expansion as Senior Vice President of International Sales.

While at H.C. Duke & Son/Electro Freeze, Penny was instrumental in the development of products and markets for U.S. and international chain restaurants. This included efficient application of electronics and mix and flavoring technology for soft serve ice cream, shakes, and other frozen desserts.

Klingler will report to John Babila, President of Carpigiani-North America and will assist in the overall group support and development initiatives with her primary focus on Key Accounts.
