CHAMPION® INDUSTRIES APPOINTS ALLEN ASKEN AS DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (June 16, 2014) –  Lin Sensenig, President of Champion Industries, Bi-Line Conveyor Systems and Moyer Diebel, announced today the appointment of Allen Hasken to the position of Director of Product Development, effective immediately.

In his new role as Director of Product Development, Hasken will be responsible for leading the Champion, Bi-Line and Moyer Diebel brands in research for new products, product enhancements and product redesign.  Additionally, he will evaluate the potential and practicality of products in development, relying on his extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.   Allen will work in close collaboration with Champion’s Engineering Department and report directly to Lin Sensenig, President of the Champion Group (Champion, Moyer Diebel and Bi-Line Conveyor Systems USA brands).

Mr. Hasken has more than 27 years of experience in the commercial foodservice equipment industry.  Allen most recently served as Director of Sales for New Age Industrial where he was responsible for managing the sales channel for the distribution of aluminum Foodservice and Food Retail storage and transportation equipment for the western United States and Canada.  Prior to his role with New Age, Hasken spent more than a decade in various key management and development positions dedicated to warewashing at Hobart Corporation, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW).
