Rob Geile Receives Daryl Van Hook Industry Award From NACUFS
Ali Group announced today that Rob Geile received the Daryl Van Hook Industry Award from NACUFS (The National Association of College & University Food Services) on July 23, 2015.
The Daryl Van Hook Industry Award is presented annually to an industry member (individual and/or organization) based on outstanding support to the association. Geile was presented this prestigious award by 2014/2015 NACUFS President, Zia Ahmed, at the 2015 NACUFS Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Award winners must meet the following criteria:
- Educational support through presentation of workshops, programs, interest sessions
- Product innovation relative to the college/university foodservice industry
- Marketing and sales support of product line and how well it fits college/university needs
- Industry Advisory Council involvement
- Committee service with NACUFS
In addition to the listed criteria:
- Corporate nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of active NACUFS involvement on the national level
- Individual nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of active NACUFS involvement on the national level as a representative of one of more industry members
- Individual nominees must be employed by a current industry member company
Geile has extensive experience in the commercial foodservice equipment industry. He has served as Vice President of Consultant Services for Ali Group North America since March 2014. Additionally, Rob has been a Board Member of NACUFS for the 2014/2015 term.
