Ali Group North America to Rebrand as Welbilt; Organizational Changes Announced

VERNON HILLS, Ill. (August 18, 2025) – Ali Group, the largest and most diversified global leader in the foodservice equipment industry, today announced the promotion of Rob August to the role of Chief Commercial Officer for Ali Group and Welbilt globally, effective September 1, 2025.

August joined the Ali Group in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Champion Industries. He has held a variety of executive positions since then, including Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President for Ali Group North America; and Executive Vice President of Ali Group and Welbilt.

In this position, August will oversee the Ali Group and Welbilt’s global commercial strategy, drive growth across company brands and strengthen customer and channel relationships.
